I think our generation, in general, seriously lags behind the previous ones in terms of practical life skills. I'm glad to see some of us are learning, "better late than never." I mean you know where I come from with my grandparents. I never talked to my grandmother about anything for years...Now I talk to her every DAY. She is probably the best friend I have now. I think it's incredibly insightful of you to be figuring this out. Such a similar story to that of me and my mother. Although the beginning is very different, the outcome the same.
