About Jim Brown

Who is Jim Brown?

I’m 25. I’m an entrepreneur. I’m a veteran. I’m a friend. I’m a geek. I’m an Indianapolis Colts, Chicago Cubs, and Kentucky Wildcats fan.

I’m me.

It’s taken me a long time to become comfortable in my own skin, but I’m getting closer everyday. After being born in Naples, Florida (you’d never notice due to my exceptionally pale complexion), I grew up in Columbus, Indiana. My parents were both hard working, blue collar workers.

I spent my formal education days bored to tears. If you were to check my transcripts you’d easily be able to tell which classes I enjoyed. After high school, I spent four years serving this great nation in the World’s Finest, United States Marine Corps. I was honorably discharged after attaining the rank of Sergeant.

I started my first business when I was 21. At 24, I sold that business and ventured into the employee world. Six months later, I returned to the freedom of self-employment. Currently, I’m the President of the online marketing firm, EverEffect.

I’m passionate about many things, some say too many. One of those is politics. 2008 may indeed be the most important election year of my generation. My goal is to educate as many possible about the impact of their vote. I’m worried about the shape of my Grand Old Party, and hope that we figure it out, and nominate the right candidate.

My ultimate goal is to start a youth foundation for underprivileged kids to realize they can achieve their dreams.
